Pastor Edwin Rajakumar, from the time of working as Pharmacist in Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, India, in 1970, had a strong Full Gospel background. God’s plan to establish His Kingdom in the Middle East brought Pastor Edwin to Dubai in the year 1977, followed by his wife joining him in 1978. The Full Gospel background and God’s plan, initiated a prayer service in the year 1978 resulting in saving of souls for Christ through Baptism in 1980 at a home prayer service. An official prayer group was started in 1982 followed by a full-fledged Tamil Full Gospel Church in the year 1989. In the next year 1990 itself, the Tamil Full Gospel Church, RAK was started followed by the other branches in various years in other Emirates.
Along with the great Ministerial support of his wife Gethsie, God has used Pastor Edwin mightily around the world and especially in the UAE. The Lord watered the Ministry to flourish, resulting in the formation of Tamil Full Gospel International Church, Dubai, serving more than 1000 members in Dubai, Ral Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman.
